Skilled Assembler

Acrolite is a leading global supplier of custom oem and technical fiber optic applications for many industry segments including medical, manufacturing, and heavy industry. This opportunity is open for individuals interested in joining a team of highly skilled assemblers.

We are looking for a skilled assembler to build complex medical components. You will ensure the parts measure and function properly at each stage. You will use your hands, small tools, epoxy, soldering tools and microscopes to complete daily tasks.

You must possess great manual dexterity along with the ability to read technical instructions represented in manuals.

Responsibilities:

• Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
• Soldering of delicate parts with the use of a microscope
• Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process
• Take precision measurements of components
• Select components according to measurements and specifications
• Check output to ensure highest quality
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
• Keep records of production quantities 
• Report issues, malfunctions or defective parts

Requirements:

• Proven experience as assembler
• Soldering experience preferred but not required
• Ability to use microscopes and small tools
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle small parts
• Good communication skills
• Good understanding of quality control principles
• High School Diploma
